A History of Hitmakers
Austin City Limits Live at The Moody Theater (ACL Live) is a state of the art live music facility that’s not only famous for its premier sound design, but also for its long history. The 2,700 capacity venue is divided into three levels, all of which encircle the stage and offer excellent, comfortable views. Aside from playing host to touring artists, ACL Live is also home of the critically acclaimed PBS series, Austin City Limits. The television show is the longest running music series in American history and recognized by Time as one of the most influential music programs of all time. The Jack and Jim Gallery on the third level showcases a permanent exhibition of never-before-released photos of stars by rock & roll photographer Jim Marshall. So no matter if you’re attending a taping of the show (which you can only do by winning tickets) or seeing a touring act, you’ll be surrounded by an energy that’s steeped in history.
