Visit Albuquerque"s BioPark
The BioPark in Albuquerque, NM houses large ponds and gardens, a rose garden, an impressive aquarium, "homestead" farm, areas for children to play and a couple bio-spheres: glass covered jungle plus a hot desert. Artwork is around every corner as are cool nooks for resting and people-watching. The ant colony is a series of tunnels and mounds, so large you feel like an ant crawling around, even the ants (sculptures) are as large as a person. A train runs along the Rio Grande between the BioPark and the Zoo so you can see both in the same day!
