Craft Beer hidden within a train track
Another hidden gem in Jacksonville that is only a hop skip and a jump from San Marco. You might miss the the turn for Aardwolf the first time you come here. Just remember, the entrance is on the other side of the train tracks and there is no paved parking lot. Go ahead, don't be scared..pull up on the rocky parking lot and get comfortable. If you are lucky you will be greeted by a local food truck, I've only ever once been there and there was no food truck. This is my favorite spot for early Sunday drinking. It has a really cool industrial, modern, resoration hardware look inside and promotes it quirky Aardwolf. You guessed it, aardvark/wolf hybred. You can do a sampling of flights here which you will find on the far wall. They always have a ton of choices and a taste for every palette. DOGS WELCOME! There can hang out in the indoor area with you or the outdoor are with you. You can bring in delicious food truck fare or whatever else you want. I thought when I walked in there would be a traditional brewery tour and then tasting but this is more of a taproom only. The uber cool hipster bartenders gave me a great sampling of the types of things I was interested in. I have come here on a weekend night and it was packed, so come early!!
