Filling up on Fish & Chips
I brought a culinary bucket list with me to London. It included items like sticky toffee pudding, savory pie, and a scotch egg. At the top of the list? Fish and chips, of course. After a bit of research, my bff and I made our way through the neighborhood of Marylebone to The Golden Hind. We had the cod and it was a very fine choice. The food was hot, crisp, and plentiful. Try a bite with malt vinegar, a dip in some tartar sauce, and sprinkle of lemon juice, then just go to town with your favorite. Prices are very reasonable, you'll even be able to afford a super sweet Jamaican Ginger Ale to quench your thirst. The family-run restaurant has a bustling diner feel with tourists and locals alike filling every available table.
