A Day Of Discovery
The Discovery Museum is easily a full days outing of exploring and fun. Set against the back drop of the golden gate bridge is this wonderful museum housed in a series of small reclaimed buildings. There is a building for Art--with the ever popular painting on windows activity photographed above. Other buildings include a wind room, an under the sea room, and a bay building--complete with fishing boat and mock fishing reals, crab nets, and a fish market. The outside play area is complete with pirate ship ruins, a tug boat, a living vine house, and sand digging lot. We always come prepared wearing cloths to get paint on and minds ready to explore.
