Flying with bush pilots over Glaciers, In Alaska
While this may be the priciest piece of my Travels in Alaska, it was also one of the most memorable. Flying over glaciers in a small floatplane was second only to seeing the Northern Lights. For a few hours we were transported from the city of Anchorage over country side, into gorgeous glaciers, and Mt. McKinley. I loved the feeling of taking off and landing in the floatplanes and our guide or "bush pilot" was very friendly and knowledgeable. If you are planning to take a trip to Alaska I would splurge on this outing, and enjoy the awe inspiring views.
