The other reason? To celebrate their upcoming opening, the hotel’s staff has offered up a community organic herb garden for New Yorkers and tourists to snip into. Yes, they’ll even provide the shears. The hotel’s staff will continue to replenish the herbs—a vast selection of plants like purple basil, sage, chives, lemongrass, oregano, and parsley—that are planted on three walls built from reclaimed wood. You’ve got until the hotel opens at the end of the month to collect a bunch, so make sure to swing by in the next couple weeks.
