From the mountains of Italy to the deserts of Chile
Last week #traveldeeper and @afarmedia took an Instagram tour of Chile with some of the AFAR Media team from powder days on Volcán Villarrica to the beautiful pastel colors of the Atacama desert to getting up-close and personal with the iconic Moai statues on Easter Island. #traveldeeper also indulged it's inner design-nerd with the Pantone colors of Burano, learned that lettuce fields in Turkey are just as stunning as any Napa vineyard and dreamed of the Italian Dolomites with heads in the clouds (photo above by @sam-strickler). Check out the rest of the best below and don't forget to use #traveldeeper for a chance to be featured on @afarmedia next week!
On Rapa Nui (Easter Island), editor @jenrunsworld explored the cave system that was forged thousands of years ago during the eruption of the Munga Hiva volcano, and was, at one point, even used as housing by the Rapa Nui people. #teamafar
This shot is from Chile’s northern desert of San Pedro de Atacama, where brand manager @michaelatrimble visited the High Plateau of Salar de Tara, where flamingos, foxes and an abundance of native wildlife roam free. #teamafar
