One happy island—that’s how we describe Aruba. And to help travelers understand the many ways to find happiness here, we’re launching a first-ever Insta-Adventure to Aruba.

It unfolds on Instagram @aruba.insta_adventure, where you can tap your way across a nine-section map of the island. You’ll be surprised and delighted by experiential posts as you make your way from the rugged North Coast to the charming Dutch colonial capital of Oranjestad to the hidden coves of Arikok National Park.

Throughout the journey, you’ll uncover locals’ tips, nearly 100 video clips and photos of authentic island life, and notable facts about Aruba (for starters, it's the sunniest destination in the Caribbean). The Insta-Adventure is also a treasure hunt that reveals chances to win fun prizes, like Aruba’s signature hot sauce.

One especially happy Instagrammer will win a VIP trip for two to Aruba, including round-trip airfare, a four-night stay at the Bucuti and Tara Beach Resort, and dinner at White Modern Cuisine restaurant.

 Just follow these step-by-step instructions…

  1. Click here to start the Insta-Adventure
  2. Tap into one of the nine sections of the map and then into that featured region’s Instagram handle
  3. Tap around the region until you discover the right post that includes the winning Instagram handle
  4. Tap on that winning Instagram handle and follow the instructions to enter for the chance to win the featured prize, plus a VIP trip for two to Aruba
  5. Go back and keep exploring the different map regions for more prizes and more chances to win the VIP trip

Now set out on our #arubainstaadventure! Ancient rock art, calypso music, freshly caught seafood, snorkeling, and plenty of prizes await. We think you’ll agree it’s hopi bon! That’s Papimento, the native language of Aruba, for “very good."
