My all time favorite thing to do in Northern California when the fog clears!
Shucking without gloves is risky business though!
Yesterday I got a glimpse of just how serious San Franciscans can be about the stuff they consume.
When it's the best, it's the best!
Go have a cup and chill with the the hipsters.
I think this area of the Mt. Tam Watershed is one of Marins best kept secrets.Take the Bolinas-Fairfax road to get there.
Head to SF's Chinatown with your elbows drawn.
Gets you the best view of San Francisco and its famous bridge
Even in the fog when the horn nearly knocks you off!
One of my favorite places to hike is out on Pt.Reyes National Seashore. Tons of wildlife and wide open spaces to see it all.
This shot was taken was crossing the bridge on the Estero trail.
Anytime of year..and you can walk forever.
You might have to wait, but it is so well worth it!
If you didn't make it to Burning Man, Decompression isn't a bad second option.
A fun and creative afternoon with hardly a commitment!
There are not a lot of trees on this trail, so its a great place to spot wildlife. Plus after your hike you can head back into Point Reyes Station and get yourself some Cowgirl Creamery cheese and some fancy crackers to snack on
