Question

Paris, Tokyo , Hong Kong Oh my! I need help urgently! I have 3 options right now. I can either go to Hong Kong (China), Paris (France), Tokyo(Japan). I'm not really on a budget, but the cheapest will be the best. Wherever I go it needs to occupy me and my family for 2 weeks. I want to go somewhere where there is ALOT to do. I currently only have enough money to stay relatively close to the city that I will be staying in. Is Japan worth going to if you only can go to Tokyo? Should I wait later in my life when I may have more money to go there? I hear Hong Kong can only entertain someone for about a week... and due to my research this seems like the truth. Also, I'm going in June and it's the rainy season in Hong Kong and Tokyo. And I don't want horrible weather while I'm on my holiday. Does France have better weather? I don't know any Japanese, will this pose a problem during my travels to Japan? I want to go to a city with rich culture and great food. I need answers ASAP before I book my ticket. Thank you.

Hi Josh... You could improve the quality of replies you receive by being specific on what types of activities you and your family enjoy. All three cities qualify as being "rich in culture and great food"... For example, are you and your family athletic and like active pastimes? Are you museum junkies? Are you adventurous or do you prefer to stick to "the beaten path"? The more you can tell us about your likes/dislikes, the better.

We're not into athletics. We love museums but wouldn't say we're "junkies" for them. We are looking for things to do that are unique to the city(temples, tombs, castles).
