Hi there. We live in Panama City, Panama - and have two young kids, ages 6 and 4. Are you staying in the city for a longish time - or just between regional travels inside Panama? If you're taking a regional flight somewhere, then I recommend La Estancia B&B - it's very close to the regional airport, nice owners who can arrange all that you'd need - www.bedandbreakfastpanama.com/. Another good place, for longer stays in the city might be our neighbor's "home-away-from-home" - www.villamichellepanama.com/ Hope this helps!!!

My wife and I stayed at the Hotel Panama in 2006. It was under $100 at that time and their pool was extraordinary. Plenty of things to do close by. Look up a guy named Jimmy and he will take you on a tour of the city. Our boys who were 10 and 14 at the time loved it.

Thank you for asking but sorry I can't help. I went to Panama only with adults.

I traveled with another adult but I agree La Estancia is a good one. I really enjoyed my stay there.
