I am planning a trip across Canada to the lower 48. Any tips or suggestions for this long journey?

That's a pretty open ended question. Canada is the 2nd largest country in the world, so it depends on time...How are you travelling? Plane, Train, Car??? The easiest way of traveling from coast to coast is on the Trans Canada. My favorite places are Tofino on Vancouver Island, Whistler, Yoho National Park, travelling the Ice Fields Parkway between Banff and Jasper. For eastern Canada, Montreal and Quebec City are beautiful. The east coast needs time, but I would definitely start your trek in May and aim to travel over the summer. As you are from Alaska, I am sure you can appreciate how cold it can be in the Winter.

Add a commentAh, I apologize for the vagueness of the question. I am planning to go by car on the Alaska highway and travel down the west coast.
