Hi Sarah. You will have a lovely time on the Cape. Let me help you out with a few tips for food and beaches. My favorite beach is up in Provincetown, Race Point Beach. It's very far up there though but has been voted one of the nicest beaches in the USA years in a row. For food up in Provincetown I can suggest Bubblas, check out the T-Dance for a fun hang-out up there with great Frozen Mudslides. For great ice cream go to Lewis Brothers. Parking is easy either down at the harbor or right underneath the big tower (Pilgrim's Monument). Other great food places on the Cape are Kream 'n Kone just of Route 28 in Dennisport, definitely check out Sundae School for the best ice cream in all of MA if you ask me. The Keltic Kitchen has an awesome Irish breakfast. Cool hangout as well is Chatham. Hope I was able to help you a bit.

Hi Sarah,

I live on the Cape and have for years. What part of the Cape are you visiting? For restaurants, can you tell me what kinds of things you like? seafood? sushi? fine dining? Here are some ideas:

- Inaho, Yarmouthport (best sushi on/off Cape Cod)
- PJ's, Wellfllet (best fried food shack...don't miss the lobster bisque)
- Wequasett Inn, Chatham (great fine dining, reserve a table by the windows)
- Blackfish, Truro (never been but I hear it's amazing!)
- The Peddler, Brewster (french bistro, probably only about 10 tables, doesn't take reservations or most credit cards...definitely off the beaten path and WORTH it)

There are tons of great beaches around the Cape and it really depends where you are but here are some that are not to be missed:

- Cape Cod National Seashore up around Race Point in Provincetown
- Great Island, Wellfleet
- any of the oceanside beaches in Wellfleet (Cahoon Hollow, White Crest, Marconi)
- Nauset Beach, Orleans
- Crowe's Pasture, East Dennis
- Sandy Neck, Sandwich/Barnstable
