Does anyone have a recommendation as to what good photography spots are at Disney World & Epcot? Going there 11/18-21, so would love some advice!

Hi Brian! Disney/Epcot parks are full of nice manufactured photo spots. Specially Epcot walking through the international pavilions. Just need to be patient as there will be a million other people that can make getting that otherwise nicely framed shot, a challenge.
Epcot holds a very special place in my heart. Many fond memories. As a kid, it was the only "International" travel I was able to do and was where I first realized how similar we all are.

Add a commentThanks Alvin - much appreciated. Epcot was easily the best place to take photos, in addition to Magic Kingdom. Got a few great shots in the world pavilion, especially China and Mexico!
Here is a link to one photo I've processed thus far - thanks again!

Wow Brian! That's an awesome shot! You have really beautiful images in your photostream. Although nowhere near as good as yours, here's an image I took of the Temple of Heaven in Beijing. Still find it unreal how they were able to reproduce the architecture of all the different world cultures. I really need to make my way back to Epcot. If you ever plan a trip down that way again, try to hit the International Food and Wine Festival. It's held mid September and into October. Booths of all the different cuisines are put through out the park and sell tapas portions of their food.

Epcot has a map that indicates good photo spots (sponsored by Kodak). Most people use them to take posed pictures of their families. What are you taking pictures of? Epcot's world gateway has a lot of good opportunities amidst all of the different "countries" i.e Eiffel Tower, Temple of Heaven, etc. But Alvin is correct, it will be busy and full of people, especially on the weekend. Disney world itself will be even busier. There can be quiet places at Epcot near the water if you venture away from the main paths.

Add a commentHi Heather - appreciate the feedback. I ended up getting the best shots late at night at Epcot when some of the people had gone home - it was "extra magic hours" on Friday, so the park was open until 12AM. Got a few great shots of the Temple of Heaven and the fireworks show!

I'm sorry I didn't see this question sooner, but it looks like you found some great spots. The one photo you've posted is gorgeous. I'd love to see more!
Epcot is always a favorite spot, especially when you get a little creative with it. And the Extra Magic Hours are the best!
Hope I can see your question BEFORE your trip next time. :)

On the beach at Yacht and Beach Club with Boardwalk in background. At Magic Kingdom on bridge by crystal palace, big thunder mountain from Tom Sawyer Island. If at Animal Kingdom approaching Expedition Everest thru Asia.

Add a commentYou know, if you check out when Disney is having certain festivals (the flower festival in April/May comes to mind) you can usually catch some unique pictures. I went during the flower festival and there were potters everywhere with awesome flowers.
Or, perhaps during some of their holiday time periods, for instance when they are decked out for Halloween or Christmas.

Add a commentLike people have mentioned, the International pavillion is the best spots and also the nightly Epcot Word Showcase show at the end of the day has fireworks.

Add a commentJust received the question today from Afar and noticed that you probably already returned but for future reference, my most memorable picture from Epcot was taken outside of the Japan area at the World Showcase with the Spaceship Earth globe in the distance. While you are there, you cannot go wrong with any of the country replicas from the World Showcase. I'm not sure if they still have different hours where the World Showcase opens and closes 2 hours after Future World but if they do, head over to the World Showcase as soon as it opens as it would be quieter since everyone is at Future World.

Add a commentCharles - appreciate the patently ignorant, grammatically incorrect and judgmental response. Very helpful.
