Are there any week-long (or less) courses in Montreal for something like photography, art, cooking, anything that would be for beginners? French or English language both work.

Here are two great places that offer cooking courses. The Académie Culinaire is a little pricier, but they both offer day/evening courses.

Sorry.. think my answer might come in 2 parts.. Not that I know of. You might consult the MMFA ( Museum of Fine Arts... Don"t know that they have a week long course.. maybe just weekend.

Add a commentI don't know where you plan to stay but I would call the hotel where you will go and check with them. There is also the Montreal Gazette (www.montrealgazette.com), newspaper, and see what comes up. Being from Montreal, I would go in July during the Montreal Jazz Festival and get a FULL week of Jazz Music, most of it free ...My thoughts!
