Ulrih Krauss is an interesting man. After years of struggling as an artist- he moved his focuses to the culinary arts. The joining of these loves are how the ZAGREUS PROJEKT was born.
The ZAGREUS PROJEKT is essentially an gastronomic exuberance where Ulrih and a local artist team-up to create a themed meal based off the inspiration of the artist.
When I visited the theme was eating locally and organic in Berlin. All dishes were created with local fare including wild boar hunted in a small forest in Berlin.
Seats are by reservation only and each concept lasts a month.
Though interesting it is not a cheap experience. At around 60 euro a meal it is not budget travel focused. The wine, ingredients and quality of food was amazing and well worth the price.
I really enjoyed the mix of art and food all presented in Ulrih small restaurant. I highly recommend this as something to take you off the beaten track and see the artists heart of Berlin!
