The menu at Zachary's is varied and reasonable: seafood, beef, chicken, and a nice looking vegetarian dish. (And a burger that’s downright delicious, judging by the speed with which my neighbor devours his.)
Also, other than a relaxing ambiance (earth tones, nice mural-sized works of art on textured walls), a foodie friend once told me the key to understanding a restaurant is its veggies. How are they cooked? Which ones do they choose? Are they an afterthought?
Zachary’s gets an A+. Veggies are darn near as good as the Alberta steak that melts in my mouth.
Home cooking will never be the same again.
