Culinary Fusion Fun
One thing I love about travel is hanging out with interesting locals. While in Yeosu, South Korea for the World Expo, I was taken in by a Korean doctor who let me crash at his flat. Late night drinking and hand-roasted coffee made for a great atmosphere. On my last night there we got up to some cooking fun - who knew Italian-style spaghetti with garlic and oil accompanied by kimchi (Korean pickled cabbage with chili) could be so good? :)
