A Dog-Friendly Hotel in Boston
If a furry friend is traveling with you, you’re in luck: Boston’s XV Beacon is a dog-friendly hotel. Not only can you bring your pet with you, but the staff at this boutique hotel pamper your canine almost as much as they’ll pamper you: Your room will be outfitted with a plush bed, signature bowls, healthy homemade peanut butter biscuits, and plenty of water. Although dogs can’t be left alone in rooms, XV Beacon is happy to arrange dog sitting and dog walking. Suggested donation for a pup-appropriate room is $25, and will go to a charity that protects animals.

A Luxurious (and Free!) Car Service
XV Beacon is just a short walk away from the T, Boston’s subway system, but sometimes you just don’t want to go underground to get to where you’re going. The hotel has you covered: They offer a complimentary chauffeur service to anywhere in the downtown area, via a GX460 or an eco-friendly LS600h Lexus. During Boston’s rush hour or on weekend nights when it’s impossible to find a cab, you’ll be grateful for it.

Bath Time, but Better
One of the best things about XV Beacon’s rooms are its marble bathrooms outfitted with rainforest showers and deep-jetted tubs. If you do decide to draw a bath, make sure to call housekeeping for therapeutic bath salts of your choice. The menu includes six different scents, to ease anything from sleeplessness to flu to soreness. When you order, your salt will be brought to your room on a bamboo tray, at any time of the day or night. Turn on the jets for the ultimate relaxing bath.

A Room with a Fireplace
XV Beacon’s rooms feel like your own charming Beacon Hill studio. Each guest is greeted with cookies and chocolate-dipped pieces of fruit upon arrival, perfect to munch on while exploring the room’s amenities. Bathrooms are big and are equipped with rainforest showerheads and deep-jetted tubs for luxurious baths. Beds are canopied and blanketed with cashmere throws. While all of this is impressive, nothing was more surprising than seeing a fireplace at the foot of the bed. On one of Boston’s wintry nights, this feature makes XV Beacon an especially desirable place to stay. Couple that with room service from the downstairs steakhouse, Mooo.…, and you might never leave
