I'm always on the hunt for family-friendly outings that involve good food, creativity and being outdoors. We found all of that and more at Wychwood Barns in Toronto. My husband, 2-yr old daughter and I arrived early on a Saturday morning in May. The re-imagined space that used to be an old streetcar depot is now filled with a thriving farmer's market, café, art space, jungle gym and park.
Where else can you try yummy, local food, check out some artisan crafts and amazing art, then toss a frisbee or play bubbles with the neighbourhood kids and families?
Wherever we travel, we love the local experience and it just doesn't get any more locally authentic than this.
