Almost a decade ago, I photographed the first visit of retired movie icon Sir Sean Connery to the Woodcock Primary School in Nassau, The Bahamas. It was a part of a literacy programme and he was there to read to the young students there.
However, Sir Sean had a sore and scratchy throat that die; but obviously still came because he did not want to disappoint the school.
Amazingly, the students came up and started reading their little storybook to him, oblivious of the fact of who he was and enjoying sharing in a good story.
I smiled from behind my viewfinder and later was happy to hear that Sir Sean was already planning to return to read to them.
