The Wirikuta Botanical Garden specializes in that iconic plant of the desert landscape: the cactus. More than 1,500 species of the spiny succulent and other desert plants can be found here, presented in gorgeous geometrical displays that will likely change forever the way you view cacti. In addition to the more than one million plants, the garden features three pyramids built from granite boulders. An exceptionally knowledgeable on-site guide compensates for the lack of signage identifying cacti and other desert flora.
