If you travel to Pinedale,Wyoming during the second weekend in July, the Green River Rendezvous is a must see! I took a road trip (14hrs) from CA to WY for this event. Starting on Thursday and continuing to Sunday, the Green River Rendezvous features live music, a parade, street fair, fireworks, and back to back days of rodeos.
Not only can you spend the day browsing the tents selling jewelry, food, hand-crafted goods and a wide variety of other items at the street fair, but one you can also visit the beautiful scenic points around Pinedale.
The food is also fantastic. If you go to the rodeo (and you should definitely go because it's one of the most exciting events to see) stop by the Pitchfork Fondue where the steak you order is cooked on a pitchfork and brought right to your table.
If you want to dance, hit up one of the numerous bars like Corral Bar, Rock Rabbit, or Cowboy bar in the evening. Most will have live music during this weekend.
