Located in Hinterglemm, part of the Austrian state of Salzburg, the Wiesergut was conceived by Martina and Josef Kröll on the couple’s 14th century family estate. The clean, modern design mixes contemporary elements (sleek woodwork; modern steel-and-glass showers) with rustic touches (exposed stone walls; seasoned leather furnishings). The open concept garden suites are particularly inviting, with their wide glass facades facing the Salzburger Alps, while a steel fireplace keeps things cozy during long winter nights.
