Although the Volunteer Park Water Tower and Olmsted Park are highlights in Seattle, the Conservatory within the park is a must see for the tourist gardeners. A perfect size to walk through and feel educated, yet not overwhelmed by flora, it's absolutely beautiful, and extremely photogenic. The organization is incredibly involved, and it would have been great to be here for an event.
Because we had such amazing weather while we were traveling to Seattle (third week in July, sun everyday!) we chose to spend most of our time outside. Before visiting, I honestly didn't realize how much there was to do and see outdoors in Seattle. It's a perfect city for gardeners and nature lovers to visit in the summer.
