Great Live Music at a 1930s Movie House-turned-Nightclub
No one is ever going to mistake Indianapolis for Nashville or Austin or Chicago, but when it comes to live music, Indy holds it own at The Vogue Theatre in Broad Ripple. The smoke-free bar plays host to dozens of great shows each year and holds about 1,000 people, making it big enough to attract solid bands, but small enough for an up close and personal concert experience. Recently, bluegrass favorites Yonder Mountain String Band and Trampled By Turtles visited and The Whigs and Keller Williams will help wrap up the 2012 concert season.
