Fake beer @ a real stadium
The Atletico - Espanyol game was enjoyable on a freezing cold Madrid night where a few snow flakes fell from the sky. Being a hardcore soccer fan however, I had to have a beer. Mahou is the brand of the Spaniards. This time however as I was sipping it, I noticed that something was missing, that certain real beer taste. Turns out it was one of the alcohol free brews. It did help wash down the salty sun flower seeds.
If Spain is known for good food and good drink, that certainly doesn't pertain to the home of Atletic Madrid FC.
