After a few days of Mongolian comfort food, you might want a little spice. And why not try out Ulaanbaatar's best (and possibly only) North Korean restaurant? Do not be deterred by the fact that the menu descriptions are a little vague and that many items are often not available--your server will point you in the right direction. The spicy chicken soup, something called "seasoned chicken," and the kimchee were all fabulous. No photos of Dear Leader but there was a Bollywood film from the 70s playing.
