Just 29 kilometers (18 miles) from Sydney you’ll find a wildlife park where some 50 varieties of native and exotic animals make their home in 200 well-groomed hectares (500 acres). Many of the creatures, such as moose, cougars, reindeer, wolves and eagles, can be viewed from the short Wildlife Trail. The family-friendly park even has a petting zoo, with a Belgian horse, a llama, a miniature donkey and other domesticated animals. Guests can also hike and take wagon rides. And since the park is located where the Salmon and Mira rivers meet, there’s also swimming and pedal boating.
