Downtown Views
Jog to views of downtown Dallas along the Trinity Skyline Trail. With a 12-foot-wide hard surface, the trail caters to both hikers and bikers, and extends along the Trinity River for 4.6 miles. Part of an extensive trail system being re-worked and implemented in the Metroplex, this trail will eventually connect to the Santa Fe Trail (slated for 2017). Along the current route, stop at Lemmon Lake and Little Lemmon Lake—great locales for glimpsing migratory birds. Parking can be found at the Little Lemmon Lake entrance, off of Loop 12; the main Joppa entrance, off of River Oaks; or the Trinity River Audubon Center, off of Loop 12/6500 Great Forest Way.
