Trattoria Cavour
Book a table in advance at this homey husband-and-wife trattoria one street back from the water. Like many Sardinian restaurants, it serves roast suckling pig, but its specialty is seafood. Standout dishes include sautéed clams; risotto with arugula, walnuts and big fat shrimp; and grilled tuna. And where so many Italian restaurants serve meat or fish with a sparse garnish of vegetables, here roasted potatoes and tomatoes are wonderfully plentiful.
