Given how many stunning lakes there are in Chile, the fact that Lago Todos los Santos (Lake of All Saints) is called “the most beautiful” by many reflects how exquisite it truly is. A short drive from Puerto Montt, the lake is fringed with woodland and feels serene and isolated. Local boatmen will take you out on the crystalline waters for a few dollars—it’s well worth it to be in the middle of the lake with its many varied hues of green and blue.
