This hidden paradise on the border of Yunnan and Sichuan province in southern China is an up and coming tourist hotspot. Trendy hotels and restaurants are just starting to pop up, but it's still relatively untouched by tourism. Which makes this natural wonderland a gem. Lugu Lake is about as real China as you can find. Rent some bikes and explore the lakeside villages inhabited by some of the minority peoples groups of China. Or take a gonadal ride up to the top of the mountain overlooking the lake. It's a view not to be missed.
