I am obsessed with the views at the Westin Cape Town's Heavenly Spa. Seriously, the view from the sauna alone is heavenly enough to book into the hotel. The spa and fitness center is located on the 19th floor, and the sauna is enclosed in floor to ceiling glass walls that offer stunning, almost dizzying, city and Table Mountain views. The same views are found in the indoor lap swimming pool and jacuzzi.
The spa features 13 deluxe treatment rooms and the Sea of Dreams sleep room, which features four heat waterbeds to relax on post treatment. Inspired by nature, as well as the finest techniques and potent herbal infusions from around the world, the spa philosophy here is focused on purity and simplicity. Massage and facials are always customizable, and there are also a number of calming body treatments. Should you wish to focus on fitness, you can work out in the well-equipped gym with a personal trainer.
Beyond the spa, the hotel has luxurious, spacious rooms (try to book the Club Level on the 18th floor) with huge windows, high end linens on comfy beds and a choice of pillows from a special menu. The location, between the V&A Waterfront and Long Street, is also unbeatable.
