Take a Trip to Ancient Korea
In a nondescript cement building topped with a colorful pagoda lies the National Folk Museum of Korea. Set within the walls of Gyeongbokgung Palace, the museum highlights anything visitors could possibly want to know about the history of the Land of the Morning Calm. Through displays, artifacts and interactive exhibits, the museum takes visitors as far back as prehistoric Korea, then moves through the Peninsula’s Three Kingdoms Period, then through the Joseon dynasty before ending with an exhibit that highlights customs and traditions in Korean culture today. 37, Samcheong-ro, Jongno-gu, Seoul
