Volcanic Explosion on the Strip
One of the best things about Las Vegas is there is actually an abundance of free activities. One of these is the Mirage volcano, which sits outside the front of the resort and can be viewed from the sidewalk. It's a great stop for those traveling with kids ... and those who just want to stop walking! The volcano explodes nightly on the hour starting at 6:00 p.m. to a soundtrack from The Grateful Dead's Mickey Hart and performer Zakir Hussain.
