Situated on the grounds of the Botanical Gardens, the Masterworks Museum of Bermuda Art is home to more than 1,500 works dating from the 1700s to today. The museum’s collection includes pieces created by both Bermuda residents and visitors inspired by the island, which has long attracted artists with its ethereal light and stunning landscapes. Among the most recognizable artists in the collection is Georgia O’Keeffe, who spent several months on the island in both 1933 and 1934. The collection also includes historic photographs of the island, like a recently acquired daguerreotype of St. George’s from the mid-1800s.
