Farm to table cooking on the Annisquam River
The north shore of Massachusetts is a magical place. Annisquam, a small village of Gloucester, is where my parents live, and I have the pleasure of visiting a few times a year. It is a sleepy village, not much touristed, and a special place that everyone should try and see. There is not much there... only one restaurant. This is a restaurant you must go visit. Only a few items on the menu each night, carefully crafted by chefs Amelia and Nico Monday who hailed from Chez Panisse in Berkeley and bring so much deliciousness to the Annisquam waters. They serve fresh oysters, and local sea-inspired menu items that can take the breath away. Go early for a glass of wine and sit outside watching the Annisquam harbor boats pass.
