The Little Bistro
Given its focus on local and seasonal food, the Little Bistro is lucky to have such a wealth of choices nearby. Salmon, lamb and even olives come from Akaroa and the Banks Peninsula region, and Canterbury wines and cheese also make an appearance on the menu. Though it's open for dinner only, Tuesday to Sunday, you can pick up the restaurant's range of jams and other ingredients used here at the Peninsula General Store.
