The Inn at Serenbe
Serenity awaits at the Inn at Serenbe, just 25 minutes southwest of Atlanta’s international airport. Spread across 40 acres, the property makes the most of its natural surroundings. You’ll find an organic farm, a croquet lawn with a trampoline, and a beautiful stone labyrinth. During the day, go swimming in one of the two pools, and in the evening get a s’mores kit from the inn for a bonfire.

If you just want to relax and recharge, that’s easy, too. Each cozy accommodation is unique and practically designed with lounging in mind. While amenities vary, you might find a Jacuzzi tub, a fireplace, or a cushioned window seat perfect for reading. The property has three houses and three cottages, and each room displays local art and heirlooms. You can also choose to stay in one of 10 lofts and townhomes located within the Serenbe community and managed by the inn. Whatever you decide, you’ll find your home away from home in the Southern countryside.

Neighborhood Vibe
Serenbe, a rural community with urban sophistication in Chattahoochee Hills, provides a welcome escape from city life. Explore the area’s natural bounty from one of the best vantage points: horseback. You can reserve a 60- to 90-minute outing through Serenbe Trail Riding. Then soothe any sore muscles with a hot-stone massage at the Spa at Serenbe. This relaxing retreat also offers facials, nail services, and reflexology. For tasteful souvenirs, stop by The Bilt-House, a boutique that sells clothing, folk art, and even decorative cowboy boots. Ladies will also want to check out Honeycomb Consignment for upscale threads at reduced prices.

Insider Tips
Who's it for: Couples who want a romantic country getaway, families looking for some quality time in nature, and foodies who crave an authentic farm-to-table experience.
Our favorite rooms: Converted from a 1930s horse barn, the Guest House has three rooms that can be rented individually. There’s a kitchen and a common area with a fireplace, and the pool is next door. Families will enjoy the Mimosa Cottage, which has two bedrooms, a living room with a fireplace, a kitchen, a den, and a sunroom.
Attention, hikers: Take advantage of the property’s 15 miles of trails. Reserve a bike through guest services, or just go for a hike. You’ll discover a hidden tree house, waterfalls and creeks, and Native American ruins.
