The Greydon House
As part of their reimagination of this 19th-century residence, New York-based Roman and Williams added a new wing to the 1850’s Greek Revival building. The décor in the 20 guest rooms combine objects from Nantucket’s history (whaling artifacts; Native American ceramics), with European flourishes (carved wooden chairs from France; hand-painted tiles imported from Portugal). The property's internal garden is filled with native sea roses and listeria and lit with traditional Nantucket onion lanterns.
