The Gibraltar Museum
The Gibraltar Museum houses a wildly eclectic collection of artifacts that, taken together, can explain the diversity and fascinating history (political and natural) of the peninsula. Just how eclectic? A short list of what you'll find here includes a reconstructed Roman anchor, animal skeletons, the skulls and tools of Neanderthals, artifacts from the Moorish Baths, World War II photographs of Gibraltar and paintings by Gustavo Bacarisas. There’s also a section dedicated to bird migrations and marine life in the area.
