During the heyday of canneries, workers had an exciting menu of fish for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Maybe some moose. But that was okay, because, honestly, there’s nothing like fresh halibut. Lunch on a basket of fried halibut and chips at the Cookhouse, where once workers took a break from processing fish to grab meals of it.
