Exotic Butterflies and Caterpillars at The Butterfly Farm
For those who love nature and wildlife, the Butterfly Farm is home to hundreds of colorful butterflies from all over the world. The numbers are steadily growing, too, as new butterflies are born each day.
The best time to visit is in the morning, when the butterflies are most active. If you want to interact with the butterflies, it's recommended to wear citrus perfume and bright colors to attract them (just don't be surprised when they land on your head).
Before wandering on your own, opt for the 20-minute guided tour (available to all visitors), where you can learn about the butterfly's different life stages as well as their daily habits. Ask your guide to point out which species are native to the island, and which are from other parts of the world. Don't leave without perusing the gift shop, too, which is full of butterfly-themed souvenirs.
Bonus: Your entrance fee of $15 for adults, $7.50 for kids includes a free pass to return as much as you would like during your vacation.
Open daily 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
