The Bushwick Collective is a must-see for any art connoisseur. Located near the Jefferson stop on the L train, the collective features artwork from both local and international artists.
Joe Ficalora, a resident born and raised in Bushwick, curates the open-air gallery and coordinates the mural rotation every few months. Ficalora works with the building owners and the artists for the collaboration and having gained significant popularity over the past few years, more famed graffiti artists are getting in on the action.
Location-wise, there are a slew of warehouse-style bars, swank lounges, chic coffee houses and small restaurants nearby. Head to Troutman Street and St. Nicholas Avenue for side by side street art.
