While the majority of the visitors to The Baths National Park have to pay a nominal $3 entry fee and then hike down a (sometimes crowded) dirt path to the beautiful granite boulder strewn beach called The Baths, we captured this photo from the private wooden walkway leading from Toad Hall Villa down to the national park. We took in the turquoise waters and white sail boats every day, at all times of day sans the crowds. "Mad Dog", Toad Hall Villa's architect, owner and proprietor, nestled a wooden patio among the boulders half way down the private walkway to the beach, providing this view exclusively to guests at the Villa. While the rates at Toad Hall won't offset your $3 savings from not having to pay an entry fee to the national park, the views and accommodations are like none other on the island: an open-air kitchen, stocked bar, outdoor showers, tastefully decorated rooms and a swimming pool with a granite boulder diving board. If all this sounds great to you, it can be purchased for the not-so-nominal price of $6 million US Dollars - Toad Hall Villa is on the market.
Weekly rates start at $4,200 (3 bedrooms, 3 baths).
