Chances are if you're in Vancouver, it'll be raining. Don't let that stop you from exploring and experiencing this wonderful city by the water.
We started on the south end of the Sea Wall and walked alongside the English Bay, taking in the fresh air and whatever views we could make out between the dense fog. A mile or two later we came to a stairwell leading up above the Sea Wall, and decided to search for a restroom. We were surprised to arrive at the Tea House Restaurant, sitting high above the Bay and promising warmth, views, and "happy" hot chocolate.
Definitely worth a stop if you're in and around Stanley Park. I'm sure it's great in all types of weather, but we were happy to be sitting on a couch, by a fire, with rain trickling down the windows as we stared out upon Burrard Inlet.
