The best part about eating the sushi at Tataki is its sustainably fished, so you don't have to worry that you're consuming the last of a species. It's also pretty dang delicious not to mention beautifully presented. There are three Tataki locations around San Francisco today, each serving a slightly different menu. Tataki Canyon is the latest installment in the family and besides the sushi bar menu, it focuses on a delightful house ramen. The traditional noodle dish is made entirely from scratch and comes in three different base flavors including soy and spicy garlic miso. There is also a small list of house specials that include lightly seared fish and seafood if you prefer to not eat your fish entirely raw. Quality is very good throughout.
