I've always wanted to travel to Australia. Now that our kids are older, my wife and I decided it was the perfect time to follow our dream and vacation in the land down under.
We have booked our flights (Flight Centre this time, and got such a good price!), organised hotels and will fly out next year for the holiday of a lifetime. Australia has been a pipe dream for decades, so we've been planning our trip for a long time. We have a huge itinerary and obviously we chose Sydney, Canberra and Melbourne, but we plan on seeing as much of the Gold Coast as possible.
Here are the Gold Coast destinations we have planned so far:
The Q1 is a skyscraper situated in Surfers Paradise. It offers panoramic views from the SkyPoint observation deck. The Q1 provides an incredible outlook in the sunshine, but I am hoping for bad weather. This sounds odd, but ascending the tower during a thunderstorm means guests can watch as lightning strikes the building's spire.
My wife and I are very active, so we have a list of outdoor adventures and places to see. Tallebudgera Creek is one of the places I am looking forward to visiting the most. It has rich Aborigines heritage and is bordered by Palm Beach as well as the Burleigh Heads National Park. There is loads to see and do so we plan on spending a few days here. Many tourists choose to camp but we will be staying in a one of a selection of luxury villas overlooking the water. Paradise!
